About Us |
 Marellen Show Ribbons started in 1977 as a family business with Marcia Whittaker & Jo-Ellen Thorpe (Mother & Daughter). Originally in two premises - Yagoona (Marcia's) & Guildford (Jo's). We moved to Silverdale in 1982. The
business stayed a partnership until Marcia retired to Bribie Island in
1994, and sadly a few years later she passed away. Jo-Ellen
kept the business as sole owner until 2006 when she made it a
partnership with her own daughter Tina. Since then Tina has taken
over the business.
Silk
screen printing
is an intricate process and it is mostly done by hand.
We have a machine that prints 100 ribbons every 15 minutes. The
newest addition to our business is a pleating machine purchased last
year,
for the making of the rosettes. We imported this machine in from overseas. STOP

Placing An Order
At
present we do not have online orders available.
We do, however, accept orders via email, fax or mail. Payment types available at present - cash, cheque, money order & direct deposit. Price lists are available, please email us for a copy. |
